Mary Wold sent these photographs to her aunt (her mother's sister) who still lived in Denmark at the time. A descendant of the aunt scanned these images and emailed them to us.
"This was taken before the house was painted and shows the south and west sides. The blossoms in the foreground are potato blossoms. They were so pretty because they were strong, large and healthful looking."
"This creek flows right by our ouse. It is very pretty, especially in summer. In winter it sometimes becomes very high and causes some trouble."
